Since 1986, the Lifeworks Annual Celebration has been a fundraising gala that recognizes the achievements and contributions of the people we serve and our community partners that champion diversity and inclusion.

We expect approximately 1,000 guests to attend the 2020 Lifeworks Annual Celebration.

Advocate of the Year: Awarded to a person who has excelled in creating meaningful and lasting change for the people we serve and the concepts we uphold.
Organization of the Year: Awarded to an employer or a community partner who is committed to inclusion and ensuring that all people are represented.
Personal Achievement: Awarded to two people supported by Lifeworks who have excelled personally or professionally – and have made a meaningful impact in their community.
Staff Excellence: Awarded to a Lifeworks personnel who goes above and beyond to make a significant impact in the lives of the people we serve.
Lifeworks uses an impartial selection process. Nominations are reviewed and award recipients are selected by an independent, volunteer committee.
Please notify the person or community partner that you would like to nominate them for an award as well as what winning entails. Honorees are recognized and presented with their award onstage at the event where they are given the opportunity to make remarks. Their stories are shared through multiple formats, including video, images, and words in marketing materials and at the celebration.
Lifeworks Advancement Department will reach out to the person or organization via email or phone to notify them that they have been selected to receive an award.
The Lifeworks Annual Celebration is one of the largest fundraisers in the Twin Cities. Reach a new audience, market your brand, and show your support of inclusion. The gala brings together more than 1,000 community influencers, including:

There are several sponsorship levels for you to select from and each one includes pre, event day, and post cause marketing opportunities.
Cause marketing opportunities are based on the level of sponsorship and can include the following:
- Public transit advertisements – 415,000 impressions
- Quarterly newsletter recognition – 10,000 recipients
- Print and digital logo display on gala materials – 10,000 save the date and invite recipients; 5,000 annual visitors to website; 1,000 event attendees viewing on program and on screen
- Social media posts – 2,000 Facebook followers; 1,600 LinkedIn followers; 850 Twitter Followers
