About the Celebration

The 2024 Lifeworks Annual Celebration took place on April 18, 2024, at The Depot in Minneapolis! We celebrated disability inclusion as the key that unlocks opportunities for people with disabilities across our communities. Your participation helped Lifeworks expand our reach to make the world more welcoming to people with disabilities.

  • We heard stories from people we partner with at Lifeworks
  • People invested in advancing disability inclusion
  •  Our mission was supported during a fund-a-need, live auction, and silent auction

Our Special Guest

Lifeworks is excited to welcome Sheletta Brundidge as our special guest at the 2023 Annual Celebration!

With her podcast shows, social activism, and bestselling autism children’s books, Sheletta is living up to her reputation as a change maker.

Our Host

Lifeworks is grateful to have A.J. Hilton as our Emcee! A.J. joined WCCO-TV as a morning news anchor in June of 2022. Originally from Apple Valley, A.J. graduated from the University of Minnesota and started his career in Alexandria at KSAX. He then ventured to Michigan, Tallahassee, and most recently, Nashville. Whether it’s being a Big Brother, volunteering at the local food bank, or reading to his children, A.J. enjoys spending time with his local communities.
